Global network requires students and youth generation to engage in worldwide activities from academic to social activities such as conferences, leadership programmes, volunteering and other such kinds of activities. These kind of events are relevance to the mission of International Undergraduate Programme (IUP) Department of Economics Education (DEE) Faculty of Economics Universitas Negeri Semarang. It is covered in international exposures programme in aiming vision of the IUP to be world-class undergraduate programme.
In optimising the outcome of the international exposures, the IUP DEE in collaboration with Gerakan Kerelawanan International (GREAT INDONESIA) to host the 1st IUP Talks with a theme “The Transformation of Character Education and Innovation in International Volunteering”.
This event will be conducted on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Economics, UNNES. It is opened for registration to all students while mandatory for the IUP DEE students as well as the bilingual class students. This special event convenes various stakeholders as speakers, they are Chairman of the IUP DEE, Sandy Arief, S.Pd., M.Sc will deliver perspectives and current issues on the new opportunities and challenges of students with international exposures; Head of International Office UNNES, Intan Permata Hapsari S.Pd., M.Pd will deliberate information focuses on the role of International Office UNNES in engaging international activities for students. Furthermore, the two speakers from GREAT INDONESIA, International Youth Volunteering Organization, Ms. Kathrin Delius (Germany) and Ms. Amelia Dita Tifani will discuss cultural, academic values, and experiences on international volunteering activities.
